I picked the note found in the playground.

You can assume who wrote it due to where it was found but more importantly how it was written tells us the most. The spelling or should I say lack of spelling tells us that a young "folk" as Joe would say wrote this. The note was directed to one specific audience being the crush of whoever wrote it. Why at such a young age would a child be writing a note about wanting or "ha'f'ing" to be kissed? Maybe the discourse that they have encountered through their family lead them to believe that kissing is a sign of endearment or that kissing is what you're supposed to do with the person you like. I believe that this note can fall under three types of genres: a love note, a demanding note or a reminder note. The obvious observation is a love note but if you really dissect the dialogue of the note the writer uses the words "have to" as if there was a bet going on or some kind of agreement. The writer also gives a deadline of when they have to be kissed by as if it was a reminder incase the little rascal forgot he had something very important to do at recess besides hanging from the monkey bars. Another thing we can pull from this text is that the writer is a girl because when you're that young the girl always assumes that its the guys job to make the first move..
