The discourse within the community of the hashtag shows you that feminism is a global thing and that writing can be done collectively around the world for a single purpose or idea. Equality is a positive thing how can a society consider it self advanced if not all of it citizens are equal someone writing with the hashtag is saying they want our society to advance I see that as a key message being spread by feminism. Beyond the idea of actually spotting a feminist as if they are visually different from the common urbanite or a person who is not one the hashtag allows feminist to spot light that the stereotypical idea of a feminist is far from the reality of individual feminists. Feminists can be and are everywhere, they are all genders, sexualities and fight many battles for equality. Feminists use many tools to wage wars on inequality including some that were utilized in this hashtag a prime example of  using writing and social media too advance the field of feminism it puts out there who they are and what they want. For a very long time the pen has been mightier than the sword, Feminism through social media is proving the key stroke may even be a more powerful weapon.
