I would define community as a group that shares common characteristics and interactions daily. I believe that we can be apart of multiple communities such as, our family, our neighborhood, our church, and even our school community. Our writing is often influenced by our surroundings and ideas that are shared by others day to day. For example, if I played soccer i would consider my team and my coaches my community and I would be more inclined to write a paper about an intense soccer game with my team rather than ballet, which is something that is not apart of my life. So, I think all writers tend to write things concerning more personal things that we are exposed to daily because we feel more of a connection to it, and people tend to have a very close connection to their community.
