#yesallwomen
This hashtag is about how women are still being mistreated, and how men are still demeaning women. Usually I do not even care about what feminists have to say because I feel like they over exaggerate everything they say. This post hit me differently because if over 40,000 women tweet the same thing then something is not right. #Yesallwomen was inspired by women who have been harassed, and it seems as if all women during their life have been harassed one way or another. Men do not realize they might be harassing women because they may have never been harassed themselves. The problem seems to lie in the fact that most men do not accept no as an answer, so when a women says ''no'' most men insist, and will not take no for an answer. This why women feel harassed because men are insisting that they give them a chance, but if a women seems uninterested then their is no need to pursue her. This whole hashtag was sparked because a guy went on a rampage and killed 6 people because he was rejected by a women, and vowed revenge on all women. All men need to understand that just because you get rejected by someone does not mean you should get revenge on anyone. Women need to not be as rude in some scenarios, and maybe the guy will not be as mean to you. Overall men need to not be as aggressive and learn to accept the answer no.
